Fabrication Services
We offer a wide variety of capabilities ranging from sheet metal work, machine bases, ductwork, frameworks, structural, conveyor systems, and furnace construction. We are experienced in working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in quantities as low as one or as many as you may require.
Assembly Services
In addition to our fabricating and machining services, our skilled and experienced staff can also provide complete mechanical, piping and electrical, and assembly services. Your project can therefore be delivered in component form or as completely assembled as required by your specifications and scheduling requirements.
Structural Steel Fabrication
We provide a one stop source for structural and miscellaneous steel
fabrication. Our facility and personnel can handle any size building project.
Whether the project is public, commercial or industrial, we can provide a
complete steel package including structural steel, joist, deck, stairs, rails,
ladders and installation of these items.
Quality Control
All fabrications and assemblies are carefully inspected prior to leaving our facilities. This assures that when your project is delivered, you can count on it being per specifications and ready for your immediate needs.
APEX has an in-house [CWI]. We offer the following NDT services:
VT-Visual Testing
PT-Penetrant Testing
MT-Magnetic Particle Testing
LT-Leak Testing
HT-Hydrostatic Testing
We also offer in house welder qualitifcations, WPS and PQR’s.
Personnel performing nondestructive testing are qualified in accordance with the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT CP-189, Qualification and Certification of Non Destructive Testing Personnel) and the supplement applicable to the method to be used, or equivalent.
Inspectors are qualified in conformance to AWS QC1, Standard for AWS Certification of Welding Inspectors, or an equivalent program (CSA-W178.2, Certification of Welding Inspectors)
Machining
In house machining capabilities ensure timely and accurate completion of your project. Also, APEX has relationships with a number of machine shops in the Toledo Area with access to various machining equipment from bridgeports to boring mills.
Welding
Accurate and aesthetically appealing welds are provided by our skilled and dedicated welders and steel fitters. All of our welders are certified per the following standards: AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, AWS D14.6 and ASME.
